27 October, Brabazon sale of work
The Brabazon Employment Society (Sale of work, 27 October), founded in
1881 by Jane, Lady
Brabazon, Countess of Meath, aimed to provide occupation for elderly
people in workhouses. A tea is also held for the Ladies Auxiliary
(lifeboats). £2.5.0 for a silver sugar basin.
